And darlings, really, before you start having a go at me, let me just say, it was pretty obvious from the start that this was going to happen...

  1. Well, I suppose since it's you...yes, we should have realised something like this was going to happen. What a great combeback, Soppy.

  2. Yes - I woke up yesterday with the conviction that it was going to be Jane.

    Quite relieved really.

  4. More potential for fun *evil*

And are you sure you know what Jane's up to...?

  5. No - something dastardly though. She's probably been planning her revenge ever since Biggles cast her aside in favour of Algy.

  6. Wouldn't be surprised if she used Sebastian to get to Biggles. She knows that Biggles would never turn his son away--all she has to do is include herself as part of the deal.

  7. Yep, still after Biggles Des Res and more valuable a few years later.

  8. And one other thing which can be summed up in one word:

  9. Wouldn't it have been easier just to pawn the ring instead of returning it to Biggles?

Unless Biggles was really cheap and bought one of those things that look like they came out of a Christmas cracker.

  10. It's more of a noble gesture to send the ring back, isn't it? And Jane was with Biggles long enough for her finger to have turned green if the ring was a real cheapie (the very idea. She probably picked it herself by going for the most expensive one in the tray). And I bet it was a Bond Street jeweller, too. **sniff**

  11. Maybe Biggles gave her his mother's ring and she didn't fancy it that much because she hadn't picked it herself.
