Sounds like a simple task, but trust me, it isn't.
Take the quiz here. It looks daunting but it's not as bad as it looks. You don't have to remember the publication year--just type the titles into the box above the timeline. You may find that the quiz only accept original titles (a lot of the books were renamed).
This looks a challenge! I shall have a go later when I've 15 minutes to spare - i.e. not rushing outside to let out the ducks and hens, or doing some paid work...
ReplyDeleteI think the most difficult titles to remember will be the air police ones. the early ones are easy.
I got 86 out of 98. a bit frustrating because some titles I put in it wouldn't accept and I couldn't remember the original title names. I'm guessing that that's not too bad a score, so I'm giving myself a pat on the back.
ReplyDeleteI got that thing in the middle of the fifteen minutes where you know you know the book, but you don't remember what it's called. Very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI ran out of time - can't type fast enough. I only got 56 - then kicked myself for all the early books I didn't remember!!! 86 is very good.
ReplyDeleteI think 56 isn't too bad.
ReplyDeleteI remembered most of the early ones but fell down badly in the air police ones. Biggles seems to have gone everywhere in that era...
With my score of 86 it makes me think I've spent far, far too much time on Biggles & co. I feel a bit of a nerd.
ReplyDeleteYou should spend some more time on the books you didn't get on the quiz :P
