Would You Rather...?

Would you rather...
Have dinner with Mahoney?
Have dinner with Wilks?
We don't really see that much of Mahoney, but I think that he could be someone interesting to meet. Wilks seems a bit arrogant and competitive, and although his and Biggles' antics are fun to read, I don't know that he would be that great a dinner companion.

    Wilks for me.
    He may seem gruff at times but he appreciates a few pranks so he must be a good laugh.
    What's more I am quite fond of humbugs too - so we'd have something in common to discuss in case the conversation dried up.

    He must have grown out of pranks as he got older--Biggles certainly did.

    I wonder if he grew out of humbugs as well?
